Stones and brooms!

Sport or game? Both! Two teams, some stones and brooms, a lot of ice and loads of fun: that’s all it takes for an exciting curling experience. The game was “invented” in Scotland, with the oldest preserved curling stone dating back to 1511. Curling also has a great tradition in this country. With around 8,000 licensed players, Switzerland is now one of the most important curling nations, and our top teams are among the best in the world.

Leisure activity for everyone

For Simon Roth, curling is the ideal fun winter activity for people of all ages: “There’s instant satisfaction – your very first stone might end up right in the middle.” Every rink offers taster training sessions, and apart from warm, comfortable clothing everything’s provided, so you don’t need any special equipment. You must try it!
