Structure your training sessions. Regardless of whether you want to prepare for competitive races or simply start running and keep it up, with the right planning you can be sure to achieve your goals. running.COACH creates an individual plan for regular and efficient training.
The training plans from running.COACH have been developed in cooperation with running professionals like Viktor Röthlin and Paula Radcliffe and are adjusted continuously depending on your performance.
For beginners: Bronze
You receive your personal training plan based on your current performance level. You can log the training sessions directly in the running.COACH app or synchronise the app with your fitness tracker or another training platform (e.g. Garmin, Polar, Suunto, Fitbit, Strava, runkeeper or mapmyfitness). The data is used to continuously expand and optimise your training plan. To help you run better and faster, you’ll receive regular tips and tricks from running experts in a newsletter.
Your individual training plan is calculated based on the information you enter, such as how much you currently exercise. You can change the number of training days or add competitions at any time. The plan is continuously adjusted to your performance and optimised based on the training sessions logged. Your training sessions are displayed in a calendar or list view and designed to combine training with periods of recovery. By synchronising the app with a fitness tracker, data such as kilometres, time and altitude can also be collected and displayed. With the running.COACH app, the training sessions are also available when you’re on the move and are really easy to follow and log. The intensity is increased or decreased depending on your activity, but you can also adjust the settings manually depending on how you’re feeling on a particular day. You always receive additional information on your sessions and daily goals so you understand how your sessions are put together and what you should eat for the best preparation.
The running.COACH programmes are suitable for adults who want to start training or who are looking to give their running a more structured format – regardless of fitness level.
The vision of running.COACH is to get more people to enjoy running. The programmes have been developed in cooperation with experts such as Viktor Röthlin (European marathon champion) and Paula Radcliffe (former marathon world record holder) and are designed to provide targeted training for beginners, the health-conscious and competitive runners alike.
