- Recommendations via the “New arrivals refer new arrivals” referral programme can only be made by natural persons aged 18 and over who already have basic and/or supplementary insurance with Sanitas (Sanitas Grundversicherungen AG, Compact Grundversicherungen AG; hereinafter Sanitas companies) and who moved to Switzerland within the last 10 calender years.
- The person recommended must be a new customer who has moved to Switzerland within the last 10 calendar years or who plans to move to Switzerland by the end of the year People who already have basic and/or supplementary insurance with one of the Sanitas companies are not deemed to be new customers.
- The following groups are excluded from the “New arrivals refer new arrivals” referral programme:
- Customers of a Sanitas company with temporary insurance cover of up to 12 months (e.g. short-term residents and seasonal workers)
- Customers taking out insurance for their newborn baby
- Customers taking out insurance for their children under the age of majority
- Sanitas employees
- Recommendations can only be made via the website sanitas.com/recommend, the flyer or the "New arrivals refer new arrivals email.
- Only one referrer can be counted per recommendation.
- If a person recommended by an existing Sanitas customer takes out at least one supplementary outpatient plan and/or hospital insurance pursuant to VVG/IPA (subject to a successful health check), the Sanitas customer and recommended customer will both receive a Digitec/Galaxus for CHF 50. Insurance plans that have already been taken out cannot be reported retrospectively to the referral programme.
- The Sanitas customer and new customer will receive the voucher by mail as soon as the policy for the new insurance has been issued. Sanitas is deemed to have fulfilled all contractual obligations on delivery of the voucher.
- By agreeing to these terms of participation, the existing Sanitas customer and the referred customer agree to their details (name, address, email, phone number, details of required insurance cover) being used in particular to make contact, create a quote/policy, dispatch the voucher and for marketing purposes (emails, information on products and services). The existing customer and referred customer can at any time revoke consent to the use of their personal details by sending an email to datenschutz@sanitas.com or writing to Sanitas Grundversicherungen AG, Jägergasse 3, 8004 Zurich.
- No correspondence will be entered into regarding the referral programme, except with the people who receive a voucher. Sanitas is entitled at any time to modify the referral programme or, if there are solid grounds for doing so, to suspend, abandon or prematurely end the campaign. Sanitas may at any time also substitute other gifts for the rewards offered.
- Furthermore, Sanitas reserves the right to exclude participants from the referral programme if they are suspected of having or found to have abused and/or violated these terms of participation, or on other solid grounds.
- The company’s decision is final.
