Sanitas is committed to climate protection

Founded in 2008, the mission statement of the Swiss Climate Foundation is “By business for business and the climate”. Sanitas has been one of 23 partner companies of the Climate Foundation since 2010, donating its net rebates from the CO2 levies.

This way, the Swiss Climate Foundation promotes energy efficiency measures and climate innovations among small and medium-sized enterprises (SMUs) in Switzerland and Liechtenstein. Over the last 12 years, this has saved an estimated 650,000 tons of CO2 and enabled exciting climate innovations.

The foundation sponsors projects in the following areas:

• Innovation projects: Support for new products and technological developments that make a contribution to climate protection
• Support for company projects and initiatives to help SMEs save energy
