Breast cancer screening

Various media reports in recent days have suggested that health insurance companies are no longer covering the costs of cantonal breast cancer screening programmes. We want to set the record straight: These early detection programmes play an important role in prevention and women’s health.

That is why we support these programmes where they are available and will continue to contribute to their funding. A deductible is not applied for customers who live in a canton with a breast cancer screening programme.
