Sanitas remains one of the best employers in Switzerland in 2026 and is once again at the top of the industry rankings.

How did Sanitas fare?

In the latest "Best Employers in Switzerland" ranking by Handelszeitung and the Statista market research institute, Sanitas achieves excellent results: Within the "Insurance and health insurance" sector, we are ranked third place. And as the best health insurance company in Switzerland, we once again lead the industry ranking. We also remain one of the country's top employers in the overall ranking of all Swiss companies assessed.

How the ranking is created

The "Best Employers 2026" ranking was carried out by market research institute Statista on behalf of Handelszeitung. Companies with at least 200 employees in Switzerland were eligible to take part. Over 200,000 ratings were included in the evaluation. (Survey period: May to July 2025).
