Priority Access – Rapid access to specialists

The main benefits:

  • Rapid access to a specialist
  • Straightforward access to innovative, high-end medical care organised by your personal advisor
  • No extra charge for you: the new service is included in your private / semiprivate insurance cover

"In September 2014 I had problems with my knee. I was delighted that it took just two weeks to arrange an appointment with a specialist and operate on my knee. I’d still be in considerable pain today if I’d taken the advice of my family doctor. The care offered by Klinik Permanence was outstanding and extremely well organised by Sanitas – as were the subsequent enquiries into my progress."

Therese Riesen, Solothurn

"During an examination in November 2014 my gynaecologist expressed concerns but could only offer me an appointment for a mammogram in two months’ time. I was really worried. Thanks to Sanitas I was able to attend an appointment at the Institute for Radiology in Aarau the very next working day. Fortunately they weren’t able to detect any malignant changes. I thought the service was brilliant."

Silvia Seyrling, Sursee

"Despite suffering a stroke in June 2014 I haven’t suffered from any lasting effects thanks to the extremely professional response from Ms Schindler, a medical care advisor at Sanitas, and the rapid arrangement of an appointment at Hirslanden. Sanitas Priority Access is an invaluable and customer-friendly service."

Kurt Mattle, Wädenswil

How it works:

Need rapid, straightforward access to a specialist? Just leave it to us. Under our Priority Access service, your personal Sanitas Preference advisor will arrange everything for you. All you have to do is tell us what you need, and we’ll make sure you get an appointment to see a specialist near you within only 3 days for private customers or 7 days for semiprivate customers.

Thanks to our partnership with the prestigious private hospital groups Hirslanden and Swiss Medical Network, the Winterthur Cantonal Hospital as well as the Clinic Pyramid at the Lake, you’re in the best of hands, with numerous facilities in Switzerland encompassing more than 50 areas of specialisation.

If you choose a family doctor model for your basic insurance, your family doctor is the first point of contact for all medical matters.
