Digital health
In the project "Digital health: 4 scenarios in dialog", the population and specialists are in discussion about the healthcare system of the future.
Origin
In June 2022, the Sanitas health insurance foundation is launching a nationwide dialog on the healthcare system in an increasingly digital world. Based on the Gottlieb Duttweiler Institute's 2021 study "Does the smartwatch desolidarize?", four extreme scenarios are discussed with healthcare practitioners, citizens, national stakeholders and political figures, which differ in terms of how data is handled and the importance of solidarity.
What is the objective?
We want to promote social debate on health, digitalization and solidarity in direct exchange with various stakeholder groups. How is data medicine changing our healthcare system? What changes is the fact that digitalisation is making more and more details about the individual known? What opportunities does this open up and what aspects or risks need to be considered?
Together, we are looking for approaches that will make the Swiss healthcare system fit for the future.
The consulting firm Sensor Advice conducts the dialogs for us and evaluates them anonymously. The results will be published on this page on an ongoing basis.
