Accident or life insurance for greater financial security

Capital

If someone becomes disabled or dies as a result of an accident or illness, there are shortfalls in provision. AHV/AVS, IV/AS and the pension fund do not provide sufficient cover against the financial consequences of disability or death. A capital (lump-sum) insurance plan supplements these benefits and offers you and your family financial security.

Your benefits with Capital

With this insurance plan, benefits are paid out quickly and easily in the event of death or disability as a result of illness or accident. You can use the invalidity or death benefit as you wish. For example, to make disability-related modifications to your home, to cover nursing care costs, to care for survivors or bridge financial shortfalls. Capital is particularly suitable for people who don’t work or who are self-employed. Four options are available:

  • Disability resulting from illness
  • Death resulting from illness
  • Disability resulting from accident
  • Death resulting from accident

Benefits in the event of illness

Capital, death due to illness
You can insure a lump-sum death benefit in the event of illness of up to CHF 500,000 (CHF 2,500 for children up to 30 months of age; CHF 20,000 for children up to 14 years of age).

Capital, disability due to illness
You can insure a lump-sum disability benefit in the event of illness of up to CHF 500,000 (up to CHF 250,000 for children). The insured capital is paid out pro rata from a disability of 25%. From a disability of 66%, the entire sum is paid out.
