About the study
The Prevention Radar Switzerland 2026 study is based on a representative online survey of 2,037 people aged between 18 and 84 from all regions of Switzerland. The survey was conducted in January 2026 by the Intervista research institute on behalf of the Sanitas foundation. This is the second edition of the multi-year study.

With its Prevention Radar Switzerland study, the Sanitas foundation is creating a platform to drive discussion about prevention in Switzerland.
A key finding of the 2026 study: People with six or more close relationships consistently reported the highest levels of satisfaction and the lowest levels of stress. People who have more close social relationships are also happier with their fitness, diet and quality of sleep.
